You sign up once, then issues arrive every month. A subscription is a repeating payment for ongoing access or content, billed weekly, monthly, or yearly.
Subscriptions fit many apps with ongoing value, but changes can be tricky: upgrades, downgrades, trials, and partial charges when someone switches mid-cycle.
You can sell subscriptions through Stripe or through Apple and Google in-app purchases. Track status in your database, and listen to webhooks, service messages about events, to keep it accurate.
